Just In Case

In case you didn't know... 40 women will skate for just over 243 hours (10 days) all to raise donations for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Goals for the event

1. Raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis
2. Raise valuable donations
3. Beat the current Guinness World Record of 242 hours by 65 minutes

The Plan is to have 6 skaters plus a goalie play in four hour shifts. This leaves thirteen skaters to rest since Guinness rules allow for a total of twenty skaters per team.
Every player will enjoy a lovely eight hours in a row of relaxation off the ice every day at different times. Fingers crossed that no one gets injured!

I've accepted the fact that this is going to be insanely difficult... I doubt any Guinness record is easy to break.

Now you know some of the details...

Oh, did I mention the players can't leave the facility for the duration of the attempt? Oi
